NINJAGO – Custom Animation
We handled all the creative and production on this spot, a custom in-theater animation piece created for Kinepolis. The creative brief was to craft an animation that reveals both the Ninjago and Kinepolis logos in fifteen seconds. Balance is something all ninjas need, so we crafted a visual story centered around gravity. LLoyd strives to find inner “piece”..only to have Master Wu teach him how a true Ninjago handles a fall.
Working with Warner Bros.-provided character models, we handled all other picture elements in the piece, including texturing, lighting, rigging, animation, layout and editing. We are big fans of the LEGO films, and worked to make sure that both the emotion of the story and the technique of the filmmaking stayed true to the franchise.
