NINJAGO – Comic-Con Custom Character Animation
We love character animation at Devastudios, and this project was a great opportunity to have some fun with a wonderful cast of characters. Starting with character models from Warner Bros., the rest of the project was entirely creatively conceived, designed and executed in house.
Each Ninjago has a special power, and we wanted the piece to quickly introduce each character and their special skill. That led to fire, water, ice and particle VFX simulations, all of which were integrated into the character animation. The music was composed by Billy Mallery of Mallery Scores.
