Inner demons come to life in this striking announcement piece for the Netflix Series Hemlock Grove. Concept Arts invited us to collaborate on this spot, with the goal of taking their print campaign key art and bringing it to life in motion.
Devastudios artists started with photographic ink elements and digital filters, and then meticulously animated the frames by hand, tracking the bodies and adding painterly effects. The resulting animations feel simultaneously fluid and hand crafted.
