A futuristic logo for a new breed of film company. Donald Tang’s company is reinventing the way that Hollywood works, bridging east and west, and looking to the future of the business. This logo is inspired by the future of cinema. Filmmakers will one day capture scenes with light field cameras, which measure the intensity and direction of light rays and the coordinates of objects in 3D space. Directors will have the ability to navigate a ‘virtual’ copy of the recorded scene and completely modify lights, cameras, and even performances in post production.
Inspired by the pointillistic imagery created with experimental light field cameras, in the world of this logo, simple points of light create a rich and layered impressionistic experience. This is a journey through a hybrid landscape of abstract dreamscape, where the fluidity of imagination plays with the dance of light in motion.
