Our designers hand-detailed the intricate golden bevels on the edges of the Warcraft main title, lending the letterforms massive scale as they settle back into the burning embers of the lockup. This main title bookended the feature, playing both at the beginning of the film, and directly before the end credits.
It also appeared in all of the marketing material worldwide. With 18 bevels each, these letters set a new studio record for detail on the edge of type, and provided tremendous opportunities for stereoscopic depth. The internal cards are illuminated by gentle horizontal lens flares, creating an organic type reveal.
