It’s the sound of snow…falling. A golden bird and snake face off in this main title for the highly anticipated prequel to The Hunger Games. Based on the characters we created for our Gold Clio award winning graphic teaser, this dramatic bullet-time confrontation between dangerous antagonists makes for an iconic conclusion to the trailer.
The character models and rigs required extensive reworking to make the new motion possible, with our animators finessing the character’s performances, finding the balance between grace and aggression. Multiple passes of golden particles swirl around the characters, creating the striking tableau with the main title type.
